Ideye, Aluko, Uche out of Keshi’s World Cup plans

Brown Ideye, Sone Aluko, John Ogu and Ikechukwu Uche will not be part of Stephen Keshi’s FIFA World Cup Brazil plans as they were not part of his provisional list for the World Cup.

However, the coach recalled out of favour Osaze Odemwingie and Joseph Yobo while Joel Obi made a return after being absent for a long spell through injury.

Keshi also kept faith in players from the Nigerian League as five of them made the cut.

There were also the surprise inclusions of Michael Uchebo, Ramon Azeez and Babatunde Michael.
