Ike Uche starts on his return to national team duty after nearly two years in the cooler as the Eagles go head to head against Congo in Point Noir.

The match is a must win one for both sides who both stand a chance of qualifying for next year’s Africa Cup of Nations with three points from the game

Upfront, Stephen Keshi went for the trio of Emmanuel Emenike, Ike Uche and Ahmed Musa, leaving out Aaron Samuel who scored against Sudan in Abuja.

In defence, another shocker is Azubuike Egwuekwe of Warri Wolves who starts ahead of injured Kenneth Oboabona.

Other defenders in the starting lineup are Efe Ambrose, who was dropped from the last game against Sudan in Abuja, Godfrey Oboabona and Juwon Oshaniwa who gets the nod ahead of Elderson Echiejile.

Hope Akpan gets another start in midfield, his second Super Eagles cap and will play alongside Ogenyi Onazi and John Mikel Obi.

And in goal will be the most capped player in the team, Vincent Enyeama, in line for his 98th cap for the team.
