Kano Pillars striker, Gambo Mohammed says there is no truth in reports that he is on the move to Tunisian club, Club Africaine.

Reports made the round in online media on Tuesday that Gambo would be leaving for Tunisia soon but Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi says it is not true.

“I have just spoken to Gambo and he has said he has not penned any deal with a Tunisian club or any club outside the country for that matter and that is why he will still be eligible for the return leg against Cote D’ Ivoire,” Keshi said.

Gambo scored the first goal in the Eagles 4-1 annihilation of the Elephants at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna last Saturday.

He has been a part of Keshi’s home based squad and was part of the team that went to the recent Confederation Cup in Brazil, where Nigeria was rated fifth by FIFA out of the eight teams that took part in the championship that was won by host Brazil.

If he signs for a foreign club now, he will be ruled out of the 2nd leg game against Cote D’Ivoire and the CHAN tournament.
